There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

"The cottage was everything we had hoped it would be, and more! It’s even better than the pictures! It was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the fireplace was fantastic on a 10 below zero morning!
