"Everything about the listing was accurate. Jeff and Peri were absolutely the best hosts we have had. They were very accommodating and provided a unique experience that my family will cherish, most notably my younger children. They all loved the place that we stayed and keep asking to go back. Aside from the memories that we made, the house itself was exactly as listed. It was clean, spacious, and appropriately decorated. It felt like home. The kitchen had all the necessities, the closets had linens and towels and there was enough fun activities around the place and inside to keep anyone entertained. The location was in a great area too. It felt like you were miles away from everything when in reality you were close to the beach and close to an active social atmosphere around the cities. We had great communication back and forth with anything that we may have needed and that is always welcomed I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, especially if they have children, because it was such a great experience. We are already planning our return trip just for the house."

"Solid Rock Ranch met our needs as a group of 12 (7 adults, 5 kids). Renee was great! She was very responsive and accommodating. The house has a large kitchen with a huge refrigerator and separate freezer. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, although it's a haphazard collection with all different styles and types. There's plenty of cookware to serve a crowd. The livingroom is somewhat small and couldn't seat all of us. The only other communal areas were the two dining tables. The downstairs has a large, empty room, that was previously used as an office. It could easily be made into another den or living area. There are 4 bedrooms with bathrooms attached and 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. All the bedrooms are large and roomy, but the attached bathrooms are tiny. You have to squeeze around the door to get past the sink. The fans in the bathrooms don't work, but they do have small windows that open. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms but most made noise when running at medium or high speed. A couple of the rooms were supplied with box fans. The house needs some general maintenance -- issues with the lighting not working, some of the window blinds didn't work, kitchen countertops were loose, etc. Some of the furniture needs to be repaired, replaced, refinished. Be aware: The house is listed for 12 people, but there is an extra charge if there are more than 10 in your group. I don't think it's meant to be deceiving, but should be more transparent."

"Came for graduation in SLO. Had a great visit. House was perfect. Check-in a breeze. Didn’t ask us to do hardly anything when we checked out-leave beds as is & take out refrigerator contents. Shampoo & conditioner provided was a plus. Across street from pool. Saw wildlife-lizard, hummingbird, bunnies, frog, & snails. Would book again"
