"Beautiful traditional Japanese Inn. Long history behind the inn nicely updated. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. The service of the traditional dinner in our room was above and beyond. "This was the cheapest hotel available so that's why I gave it a try. The best part was the adequate, Japanese-styled breakfast buffet. Not a huge selection, but it filled me up and tasted good enough. It's a cheap hotel because it saves money on not remodeling: the lobby area looks fine, but paint was chipping badly over the hallway lights and the bathroom tiles looked like they were from 1994. It's far from the train station and river, but still surrounded by stores and some restaurants."

"Hotel was about a 15 minute walk from railway station. Check in was good. We had room 815 it was facing the water. Beds firm and were able to get bigger firmer pillows. Room size was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choices."

"Great location. Older style hotel and our initial room was very poor and we were moved to an excellent room because the air conditioning didn’t work in the first one. The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen.
