"We came to the island for a wedding but wanted to stay an extra night. The location was great. You could see palm beach from the porch of the property. Very short walk to Palm Beach which had a great little restaurant and store right by it. The resort has a good restaurant as well, which is right there. If you are not in your own vehicle I would suggest taking a cab to the property with luggage. The walk to the property from the bus we took had a pretty steep climb to do with all of our bags....

"We stayed at this property in late December 2023. Everything was wonderful. The rental is situated higher up on the hillside so the ocean view was such a treat. For a small fee we were able to use the outdoor pool, which also had a stunning ocean view. We walked down to the beach in the morning, and grabbed some coffees down there for a wonderful way to wake up. We'd love to return! Thank you for a great stay."

"The location and view are gorgeous, but the unit needs work. Outdoor furniture is old/peeling/very weathered, the bedroom is extremely small with no room for luggage, furniture and bed is old and needs some updating, unit needs a good coat of paint and cleaning of cobwebs. Windows were very dirty. "

"Great house with everything you need for a great holiday. New house with quality furnishings, beds and linens as you’d want for this price point. Walking distance all the great facilities that Matakana has to offer. Wish our stay had been longer. *Take your own wonderboom as no speaker for music provided. "
