"Even the bit of rain we had didn't dampen the holiday. We just tucked up under that incredible deck until the sun came out. We booked a charter and being able to walk out on the private jetty and get picked up and then returned back to the dock at the end of the day made such a difference. Cheers Tony"

"Lovely stay, loved the retro vibes. No hot tub though (was mentioned as having a hot tub). Little noisy on main street with car noise. Close to beach and can hear the waves at night. "

"Neat, clean, large house, ideal for a large group/family. Spacious backyard with trampoline and a fire pit beside the river (didn't have a chance to try it out unfortunately). Kayaks to use and great for kids/teens. Loved the caravans. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Location is great, lake at back door, good food is a 3 minute walk away, paddle boards and surf skis were great fun, spa needs a bit of time to heat up, so plan ahead there. All in all great place to stay, hope to return one day."

"We had a lovely stay. Plenty of space for the family to spread out and space to come together for meals and board games. The kitchen is the best appointed kitchen we have come across in a holiday house, everything you could need to cook and even bake. Couches for all to read, relax or watch a movie. "This is simply a beautiful house; very well equipped and supplied, with a lovely host. A very short walk to the beach and outlooks from the windows that make you feel miles away because most of what you can see is temperate rainforest. Nice touches for families: beach cricket set; doll house; lovely kids room; games. Raucous birdsong in the morning. Thoroughly recommend!"

"We had a school girls reunion for the weekend and the house was perfect for us. It was very well setup and had everything we needed to have a fun but relaxing weekend. Although the weather wasn’t great we still enjoyed the spa and and had a really good catchup with old friends. I would definitely recommend this house."

"Nice accommodation. Nice view. Walking distance to shops. Nice and clean. Bit inconvenient having no internal access indoors, especially with young children. Could do with more lounge style seating upstairs. We had no bedside tables in our room. Would have been nice to have window coverings on upstairs window facing street, where the dining table was located. room."
