"This was our first time staying at this home and we are definitely interested in coming back! The beautiful back deck overlooking the river is reason enough! The staired pathway down to the river front made for a perfect happy hour spot too!The room and bed situation worked perfectly for a large group where everyone could sleep comfortably.The large dining table worked excellent for our group of eleven moms to be able to play games and enjoy meals together.The house was equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend away.The owners were amazing at responding quickly to any questions we might have and sharing ideas of activities for us to do to enjoy our weekend."

"I loved staying at your place and recommend others to go. I booked online at work on a PC but when i tried communicating to you via Vrbo site it was difficult to. Maybe a note in the room with your phone number to text would be better for any questions while staying there. It is a beautiful place and i loved seeing the animals in the morning. I was going to ask if it was OK to pet them. I tried and one came close but no petting. :) "

"Great communication from the start. House was immaculate and well supplied.. Big public area fit everyone and was comfortable. Hot tub was great.As in some other properties I have experienced, the bedrooms have open windows with shutters to the public area. It can be loud if one retires earlier than the rest of the group. Owner/agent receptive to suggestions as discoveries/inconveniences arose such as bedside lighting, cookware etcWe loved the dinosaurs! They are incredible. And we watched the supplied Jurassic Park movies on the big screen inside. That area of the Columbia River is gorgeous. Jurassic Retreat would be a fun base for a family to spend some time exploring. Even with mostly all adults, we worked the dinos often.We were to capacity with a girls cousin room and a boys cousin room and adult brother and sister with their spouses.in the other two rooms. The big bathroom upstairs worked well for the girls to get ready while the rest of us went downstairs. Prepping for a family wedding with several events over two days, we had lots of ins and outs and turnarounds. Everyone had their space and it worked well.I rented a large 4WD at the listings suggestion and was glad I did. Other cars could make it up the hill but it was a breeze with my Suburban."
