"Convenient to the beach. The hotel room was overlooking the sea, which was beautiful. The furnishings were a little tired. Finding a spot to park was difficult even though they said parking was available, they never explained exactly where it was located which was in the back across a busy road and a very small, tight garage that was difficult to park in, very tight space. Initially the staff did not explain where to park and i had to drive around a one way system 4 times to finally see...

There was mould on the walls within two rooms which I was merely told happens due to the area they are located and they’d get the cleaner to sort. This never happened. "Beautiful place, quiet and peaceful. We had a hot tub and sitting there and watching the sunset was amazing. The bar was ok good food but pricy for the area, however we had lunch watching a surf lesson on the surf rider. Excellent entertainment! 🌊🏄‍♂️ A really good relax and recharge few days "

"Our stay was a special treat to end a holiday we were already on in Cornwall for the week ending 22/09/24 Everything was lovely & the hotel was interesting considering it was a prison!! All staff were helpful, polite & understanding, plus hard working considering they were under staffed in the restaurant, This I totally understand as I am also in the catering industry working as a Head Chef for gastro pub . "You can tell the hotel is a little bit tired but my room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfy so a good night sleep was had. The staff are all very freindly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was really good. The view from my room was Amazing, over looking Fistral Beech."

"A lovely night away for my daughter’s birthday. All the staff were very attentive. We received a lovely warm welcome and the breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. The waiter brought out a surprise ‘happy birthday’ on a plate with cake at the end that really made our meal very special. We enjoyed the spa and the beds were very comfortable. "Beds were excellent, cottage was clean and well equiped. Arrive Friday 20th around 14:15 and was told check-in was not until 16:00, bit we could buy and extra hour for a fee. This seems rather a poor way to welcome guests who are spending Hundreds of pounds on accommodation. On later checking the "welcome letter" it actually quoted 15:00 check-in. It left a bad taste from this 1 reception person. Otherwise the stay was good."
