"We stop in Wytheville 2-3 times a year during travel and were looking for a hotel option that didn’t feel like a truck stop along the interstate. Glad we gave The Bolling Wilson a chance. It’s a nice, historic building with small, but cozy and clean rooms that were perfect for our family of four. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were nicely appointed, parking was easy, and the area of the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was provided and was on par with a Hampton Inn, which is fine, that’s all we really need to get going in the morning. My only small complaint was that the blue light on the mini-split AC unit is incredibly bright and lights the whole room at night. Could not figure out if it was possible to turn off the light, next time I’ll use a post-it note to cover it up. Would recommend staying here, will be back. "

"We stopped here overnight on our way to the beach, and are so glad we did! Very clean, great amenities for what we needed, and quiet. We traveled with our 7 and 8 year olds and they didn’t want to leave in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and everyone treated us well. We may stop again on out way home because the kids moved it so much. "
