"Surprisingly roomy and modern. Garden was lovely for birdwatching. Breakfast room and in room treats were very generous, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Only about 20-25 minute walk to the city center, and a few pubs and stores also within a couple of blocks. Short stay so we didn’t use the busses but seemed very convenient . "

"First, the staff are wonderful - friendly and very accommodating. The location is quite convenient for any local shopping or visiting. Summertown is an easy half hour walk from Oxford City Center - or take the bus, of which there are many running throughout the day and evenings. Also, for the four of us, a cab back from city center costs just a bit more than the bus (9 vs 8) We had a twin room on the 3rd floor that was in back - very quiet - and fairly roomy. We would happily book again...

"Easy 20-30 mins walk into Oxford city. Parking fees covers from 3pm to 11am the next morning. Staff who helped us to check in was kind of rude. He was speaking too fast and when we asked for clarifications, his tone changed, as though we couldn’t understand English. We are from a first world English speaking country, just not UK. "
