"This was my second stay at the Lavender Inn by the Sea. I even had the same room by request. As a woman travelling on my own, I feel safe and comfortable here. It is quiet at night and close to the Amtrak Station and bus routes. I was sorry to find the bikes had been replaced with high-handlebar cycles that proved difficult for me. Other than that, all went smoothly and I would be happy to stay here again."

"This was a great location, walkable (if you are up to 1 mile to 1.5 mile walks each way) to food. It felt very safe and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The internet was awesome and the location offered a pool, hot tub and restaurant on site. Although we did not use the pool, hot tub or restaurant, it was obvious they were well used by other guests.
