"We loved our stay at The Squirrel Tree! The room was very nice and clean. Loved that we could walk over in the morning for a delightful breakfast. We spent our days in Leavenworth. Then came back and enjoyed the bar. Great drinks and hours of playing pool. Upstairs. Can wait to come back again in the summer and enjoy some live music in the back area! "

"We were so happy to get to come back to this special cabin in the woods. We stayed in this cabin 13 years earlier when I was pregnant with our first child. We now have two girls and we celebrated our oldest daughter’s 13th birthday at the cabin! Everything about it was just how we remembered- besides some very enjoyable upgrades! Now we enjoyed a hot tub and a new staircase to the loft. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Every morning I looked forward to waking up to the river and forest covered in snow- right out the bedroom window. There was nice, cozy space for our family inside the cabin, and we enjoyed the outside most! Private river access to walk and enjoy nature, acres of woods for the girls to run and play, and the hot tub under the stars.The customer service was excellent too. We had one minor appliance issue. When I reached out to the host they replied immediately and asked if they could send someone to repair the same day. We left to ski and by the time were returned, it was taken care of with no interruption! (Even on the MLK holiday weekend). We would love to come again, highly recommend!"

"Great location, beautiful views, lots of privacy, hospitable, comfortable. Hosts were extremely receptive, accommodating, and professional. Although they live on the upper floor, we never saw them. But they were readily available with friendly communication lines always open. Amenities were plentiful, with everything we needed and then some. Great attention to detail. House and property were immaculately clean and tidy. We would happily return and highly recommend. "

"We stayed at the cabin for a new year's getaway with extended family. It was a beautiful location, with snow all around and a beautiful view of the river. We were pleasantly surprised by a sledding hill that was right across the street and up a trail, the kids and dog loved that! We were 30 minutes from Leavenworth, which for us was the perfect distance to feel closThe host was very responsive and took care of a small issue quickly during our stay. "

"This is a unique property. Definitely not your normal bed and breakfast! However, if you are looking for a place away from the bustle of Leavenworth set in the forests of the Cascades then this is the place. We stayed in the Natapoc Suite which has a wonderful cottage/log cabin type of ambiance. Breakfast is boxed and delivered to the room. It was quite tasty. In other words, this property is excellent if you are looking for a rustic, woodland environment."

"We enjoyed our stay. We have 5 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The separate living area was nice for the kids to each get their own space. There is a slight view of the water between the two homes in front of the vacation home. Short drive to the pool house. Tons of room in the house. There weren't many directions so we didn't know we had to register to get a pool key but we figured it out. Some of the window shades in the mater bedroom are broken so we may have given the neighbors a show while changing. "
