"Room was clean and spacious - we had an executive king room and our daughters loved the pull out. Definitely enough room for 4. The only down side is that the pool is down for maintenance right now and we were looking forward to using it. There was nothing that said anywhere that their pool would be down. "

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very easy check-in! The room was beautiful and clean. They had a wonderful breakfast with hot and cold options. And they had a wonderful pool area. My only complaint is that the bed was very firm and i woke up with a backache."

"Wasn't sure what to expect based on others' reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. We received a ground floor room with a window, super high ceilings and a kitchenette, making the room seem huge. The two double beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was small and could use updating, but was sufficient. Water in shower should be hotter. Breakfast was decent, better than some. Lots of seating available. My daughters used the pool, which was very busy & noisy. They said the hot tub was lukewarm...

"Likes: - Comparatively inexpensive compared to other Lutsen properties near the ski hill - Clean: Rooms and property was all very well cleaned. - Staff was super friendly Dislikes: - Property is starting to show its age. "The hotel rooms at the Grand Casino are clean and comfortable! They have been recently renovated and are very nice. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding were clean and nice! Check in was easy and very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely plan on returning!"

" The room was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, I slept great! The only thing was the entrance steps were not very level, I do not know if the frost has moved them but that was the only thing that I noticed. Everything else was great! "

"The folks at Solbakken were very kind and down to earth. They helped me jumpstart my car in the cold for about a half hour and were very hospitable! The cabin was cozy and had all you would need. Great stay thank you guys. "

"Clean property with better than avg eggs/sausage & waffles at continental b-fast. Rooms dated but comfortable & just needed an extra blanket which was easy to obtain. Bathroom odd (small) size but again clean & in good repair so no complaints here. "
