"Overall, I really enjoyed this property and will be back. I was a little disappointed in two things. First, it wasnt super clean. It was clean enough, not to throw a fit over, but the fans, air intakes, and ceiling had weeks of gathered dust. For me thats not an issue. However, I brought my epically over-clean mother and she notices every little thing. Second, the stairs to the river landing were torn up and it was unaccessible. "This was our second stay at this property. Housekeeping was much improved from last time. We slept in a different room with larger bedside tables. We also brought our dog along this time and we pleased to see a dog bed and toys available. The awkward things were still awkward, but we knew what to expect and how to work around them. This is where we prefer to stay when visiting Bastrop."

"The property is beautiful. The back yard that overlooks the lake and the home looks like the pictures listed. Our family has vacationed in a few VRBO properties and this one had the most bells and whistles and had the best stocked kitchen of any we have stayed in.
