"I was looking for an end of summer getaway for my family of 3 and this was the perfect choice! The house is at the end of a lovely street and breathtaking as soon as you pull up. We trailered an 18’ boat and it was tough to back it in the driveway but not impossible. I wouldn’t want to bring anything larger. We put our boat in at a local ramp and docked the boat at the house for the rest of our stay which was so convenient. We did it all, paddle boarded, kayaked, jumped off the dock, swam...

"Our hosts were very kind and helpful with info on local areas. The beds were super comfortable, which is not always the case with some VRBOs. Amenities were all there as needed...and it had a great shower. It was quiet and was perfect for a writers' weekend get away. Our book is nearly complete now!"

"Two adults 14 year old daughter and an eight year old son were comfortable in this suite. It's the owners have really thought of everything! There were a few toys, dvds, so many amenities including ones we didn't expect to need such as bug cream . They even had vanilla almond milk which was a godsend for our lactose intolerant family. Everything you could possibly need is there and more. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and can be adjusted for firmness. My daughter slept on the spare...

"Great place, near a few hikes and the trails inside Big Canoe are phenomenal as well. We even had a little snow! I wish the wellness center wasn’t $20/day so I could have used it daily. But that’s not the rentals, it’s big canoe pricing. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, hosts were so nice. They showed us the flower farming operation, we got to see all the farm animals and we learned a lot. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay for as long as we would like because we had to get back to our kids unexpectedly , but our hosts really made us feel special and took the time to make sure we were comfortable. If you are spending the weekend at lake Allatoona this is a great place to stay."

"This is a great little cottage if you need a short stay for one to two people. It is right next to train tracks and the trains do run all night so I’d suggest bringing a sound machine or the like. It’s not so much that the house shakes but it is enough to wake you up. If you are in town for a wedding, also note there is no iron or ironing board. But the kitchen was well stocked and great, and the bathroom as well! "
