I'm 76 and not nearly as steady or confident as I used to be. I took my walking sticks and that's how I navigated the rail-less steps. Very comfortable for 2 couples as each "suite" is on opposite sides of the unit, providing good privacy. A bit tricky finding your way to the beach. Loved the location as we were doing a color tour and wanted something outside of Traverse City (too busy). "Great location, right in the center of the village, such an adorable area. Just a two minor issues. The first was that the toaster did not work. We tried two different outlets and it would not start/stay down. Needs to be replaced. The other is that the smoke alarm is crazy sensitive. Every time we used the oven, it would go off. There was no smoke in the air but it would still randomly go off. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying...I guess sensitive is better than not working! Furniture...
