"It was an accessibility room. The light fixture and curtain fixtures did not work properly. Also, during check-in, I was not given a chocolate chip cookie. Additionally, the hotel was noisy, as my room was directly in front of the pool, and kids were obviously having fun. Also, the hotel was not very clean. And this type of cleanness was a buildup of dust and vent fixtures falling off along with garbage thrown on top of decorative tent fixtures above the pool, for the amount I paid I expected a better hotel. "The Holiday Inn Express Rochester, on February 28 – March 3, lobby was under construction, it appears to be a limited face lift. Any 4 stars ratings are attributed to the “face lift”. The bathroom was small but functional. I liked it – why waste space in a bathroom while taking away space from the living area? Getting used to the room's heater was interesting. It had a loud start then continue rapidly to heat up the room. The water in the bathroom was quick to heat up. The breakfast food was good. My schedule was busy. I did not have to time to see the Gym. The parking area was good. The snow plowed no issures there. Everything, shopping, restaurants were close by including the Highway. "
