There is excellent walking and a national cycle route direct from the door. Sheringham has a sandy beach, cafes, shops, restaurants, a cliff-top golf course, a leisure pool and is home to the Poppy Line steam railway. Sheringham Park, Felbrigg and Blickling National Trust properties are within easy reach. RSPB nature and bird reserves can be found at Salthouse, Cley and Blakeney Quay, a 30-minute drive. The bustling, Georgian town of Holt is 10 miles, whilst the seaside town of Cromer, with its pier, promenade, beach, shops and restaurants, is a 10-minute drive. Norwich, 20 miles, has excellent shopping, a theatre and a castle museum. Excellent sandy beaches can be found at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, 17 miles. Beach 3 miles.
