A very pleasant stay in September for 2 of us, the cottage is very convenient for beaches and the Broads. We found all the equipment supplied met our expectations, although we hadn't expected to see Southern Comfort , Gin and Tia Maria - non of which we sampled. We would have liked better lighting in the conservatory to allow reading in the evening. We only watched the TV a little in the evening but it was OK. This was our second stay at Briar Cottage and we would definitely return again. It is clean and has everything we needed for our weekend away. The bedrooms are good sizes and the conservatory is a great space for dining. It's in a such a beautiful spot, handy for the beaches, farm shop, and supermarket.

Brilliant little cottage, great for our family especially the back garden.
Brilliant little cottage, great for our family especially the back garden. We had everything that we needed and we'd definitely return if were ever back in the area. The only frustration was that because the hit water is controlled remotely by the owners there wasn't enough hot watrr for more than 1 person to have a bath each day.

Briar Cottage is well located to explore the coast and the Broads of Norfolk. The pretty garden makes an excellent place to sit on a sunny day. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Much thought had been given to the decor which added to the cottage’s charm. Excellent value for money.

Good base for exploring the area.
Good base for exploring the area. Would recommend you take a few essentials like milk, etc. As there was nothing at the cottage even if it said there would be a welcome pack. Tesco in Statham down the road which was handy.

A lovely well-equipped cottage with a homely feel - well positioned for visiting the Broads and coast. Super little well-looked-after garden full of birds and relaxing to sit in. Our 2nd visit to Briar cottage and it was just as good as the first.
Our 2nd visit to Briar cottage and it was just as good as the first. Stalham not far for shopping (Tesco) as well as a very nice village. Visited Gt Yarmouth and Gorleston. Norwich not too far, parked in the park and ride, so no stress to find a car park in the city. All very nice days out. If the weather had been better at the day of our stay we would probably have ventured onto the beaches. Cottage very comfortable to come back to, nice and warm and cosy, well equipped. Great stay, would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage, with everything we needed for a relaxing week.
Lovely cosy cottage, with everything we needed for a relaxing week. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the living room cosy. We enjoyed playing cards in the conservatory in the evenings. The cottage is located a short drive from some beautiful beaches and on top of the broads, with Wroxham a few miles away.

This suited the two of us perfectly.
This suited the two of us perfectly. Water-pressure is certainly low, but the shower always managed to work. The heating is adjustable and effective enough. More (and also smaller) mugs would help more efficient use of d/washer. Easy to drive to coast (even walkable) and nearby broads. Good walking in vicinity, tho' maybe local OS map would also help.

An amazing time at Briar Cottage.
An amazing time at Briar Cottage. Perfect loacation, perfect cottage, perfect facilities. We loved every minute, from lazy mornings in front of the fire to long walks on the local beaches. The only criticism and it’s a minor one... is the heating, as others have said, is a pain!
