"The host was very nice and welcoming. We asked for a couple of recommendations of restaurants and places to visit and we had a list waiting for us when we arrived. :) We also needed some hangers and the host brought some the next day as well as a new drying rack. The place was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The area is very quiet and not far from Honfleur and Deauville/Trouville. We would definitely stay there again."

"Just the perfect place to stay for a holiday in Normandy. The house and the garden are beautiful and Christine and her family are the perfect hosts, make you feel very welcome. They thought about everything in the house to make you feel at home, but also on a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. "We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. "This is a lovely house and large enough for extended family. great walled garden for kids and dogs. Nice peaceful area and lots of space inside. Great conservator with table. Possibly some areas need a little updating (electrics and some furniture). Also somewhere to keep clothes needed in downstairs bedroom. "The house is a large, beautiful gite with everything we required for our stay; good facilities, clean and a well maintained pool on a daily basis. The property is situated on a hill side allowing for unspoilt scenery in the sunshine. The owners were incredibly helpful, had very speedy responses and allowed us to book on the day!
