"Overall the Tanoa is a great hotel, nice staff, clean and tidy with good facilities and amenities.They let themselves down by ridgedly sticting to the rule of no refunds. Because of circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel a booking made through Expedia. Those circumstance caused us to stay at the Tanoa for four days just not the day we had to cancel. The air condition didn't work, the TV didn't work, cupboards were broken, there was no mini bar stock in the fridge, no tea/coffee supplies, only the kettle. We were moved to a standard room and still the air con didn't work. The towels were not replenish the whole time we were there."
