"Pretty basic accommodation- you get what you pay for. It's great for young people who want to meet other young people from around the world. There's some opportunities to pay for accommodation by working in housekeeping. Good location - 10mins from the beach and all the amenities. There's a fully licensed bar, a swimming pool, fully kitted kitchen, and laundry facilities. Highly recommended if you want somewhere affordable to stay in Surfer's Paradise. "

"A small but cosy hostel that is a 10 minute walk from the beach, shop, restaurants and pubs. There is free pizza on Tuesdays and bbq on Saturdays. The staff is always friendly and the vibe makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay again the next time I visit the Gold Coast."

"The Q1 is nearly ocean frontage, on the 68 floor the sunrise was amazing, the views spectacular and every convenience was there at the doorstep. We had a fantastic time, the sushi place downstairs was some of the best I have had in the past 15 years. The light rail was right out front. The unit was huge and well fitted out the furniture was a little upmarket, everything was comfortable. We had a great time until we found the swimming pools and the heated pool then it was close to a high end...

"The Apartment was great, had an amazing time, the pools were great. Only downside was the carpark, made to pay money for the carparking but still needed to call front desk every time we wanted to enter or exit for them to manually open the boom gate."
