"Property appeared to be newly renovated. Lovely apartment within easy walking distance to main square and many restaurants. Kitchen facilities in apartment were minimal, but we did not prepare any of our meals, so that was not an issue for us. Free public parking was very close by, but it was limited so no guarantee that a space would be available. Common area with a nice coffee machine serving all types of complimentary coffee drinks. "Wonderful room on the 3rd floor with huge balcony and a view of the lake and beyond. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, plenty to choose from. No toaster for the bread ? We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was ok but the stand out was our lovely waiter who did an excellent job looking after a full restaurant. "

"Property is on a hill with several signs leading to it and a very small area for parking. There was no reception area and no indication of where to go. We literally walked into one of the doors, walked down a hall and found our names on pieces of paper stuck in the doors. One room had a leak in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and quiet and there was a common kitchen area and beautiful view from a covered common patio area. "

"This hotel was very dirty and stinky. We have travelled all over the world and understand that a 5 star hotel means different things in different countries, but this hotel was just nasty. Maybe it was a 5 star hotel 50 years ago, but not any more. We did stay over night because we had nowhere else to go and got out of there in the morning. The hotel refused to give us a refund for the remaining nights, claiming they have a strict cancellation policy. I just wanted to show my Canadian husband...

"Spent three lovely days in Ohrid at the Tino hotel after a stressful few weeks at work. It's clean and ideally located lake front - just a short walk to the town centre and the old town and about 20mins to St John at Kaneo (the famous lakeside church). The hotel staff were lovely and really helpful - finding bus times etc. They have a sister hotel 4km away which they said I could use the pool of - I didn't but it's worth thinking of if you're there a while I guess! The restaurant was delicious!...
