We used this property as a jumping off point to explore the trails of the Susquehannock state forest and were not at all disappointed. The property owner is kind and helpful and quickly answered a number of questions that I asked via the VRBO messenger app. We will defiantly be returning to explore even more of the beautiful wilderness in this area and would definitely stay here again as a first choice."

"I rented this location for our summer vacation as part of a Christmas present for my astronomy-loving son. It was only about 20 minutes from Cherry Springs State Park, but on a clear night, you also had a beautiful view of the night sky from the property. The house itself was lovely and clean, and it had almost everything we needed for our stay (we second the suggestion for adding a tea kettle). The only negative, which wasn't a true negative for most of our party, was that it really wan't clear that the property was right next to another VRBO rental (on the same property). That information is explained when you arrive, but I don't see that information anywhere on the description of the property. So if you are expecting complete privacy/seclusion/quiet, you are not guaranteed that. Again, the location and property managers are 10 stars, in my opinion, and the house/location worked well for my party's needs, but I do think this information should be disclosed to potential renters."
