"I did read mixed reviews on this property - however, if you are properly aware before you book, you will enjoy it. The gasthaus is separate from the pretty building with the restaurant in it. (About 200 yards downhill). You can park at no charge up behind the restaurant but then it is a hike to where your room is. "Very comfortable, very clean and modern rooms. Yet there are heirlooms all over the buildings that you will never see anywhere else. The hotel is quiet and comforting. The restaurant had a great breakfast and dinner options were extensive. All the food was very well prepared. Drink options are exceptional and there is an extensive wine list. "Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available."
