"The Rupa Rupa is up quite a steep set of stairs. Once up there the room for four was large enough, however the bathroom is a bit small for four people. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. You can hear the birds in the morning but also the nightlife so it's not quiet most of the day. Overall it was great, just be sure you can do 5 flights of stairs often and are okay with mountain air moisture."

"I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere other than at this beautiful guesthouse. Loved my room and opening the doors onto my little balcony to an incredible vista of Inca ruins. "I stayed here with my husband and mother since we were going to Machu Picchu. It was a great place to stay since it was close to everything and the bus/trek to the mountain. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly and lovely! "We could not find the property. We got a local person affiliated with the company that we did the Inca Trail with to attempt to take us to the Hostel. The problem was that the address listed in Expedia led to an abandoned building that was being worked on. They may have had a temporary location set up, but we got locals to phone the numbers listed and there was no answer. So, we stayed at another place instead."

"We really enjoyed our time at the pyramid. The view was amazing. It’s a bit of a walk down so keep that in mind for anyone with physical limitations. The dinner they cooked as amazing and they even taught us how to make mojitos while dinner was being cooked. Close enough to the train station to walk.
