Very polite, friendly, and responsive (Amna and Samahair were especially pleasant) - Location is just minutes from mutrah souq. -their gym is pretty good and they had separate gym separate times for women's swimming pool. So that was nice. - The only negative was the beds. Wish they had more firm mattresses (maybe they do I didn't really ask) "

"Lovely hotel with amazing staff. In the middle of Muscat so only 15 minutes either way to the airport or old Muscat and the souk. Small roof top pool, which always had beds available. The sun beds had seen better days and could do with replacing. Shame it wasn’t clear how to get towels for the pool. If you want a more luxurious day at a pool, it’s far cheaper to book a day pass at one of the 5* beach resorts rather than stay at one, as this Hilton gives 5* service. Breakfast had a good selection. Paid a few pounds more for half board option which was definitely worth it. The choice of lunch or dinner which was either from a set menu or buffet depending on the evening. All meals were top class and very traditional. I did not feel that I missed out on eating at local restaurants. All staff in the dining room are a credit to the hotel. Avoid paying for luxury taxis with O Taxi by coming outside of the hotel and standing by the restaurant just to the left of the hotel. This will change the price of a taxi from 20 Rials to 2.5 Rials to the airport. Always book a taxi with the app and ignore taxis that stop for you. They will say their meter or card machine is not working and over charge. "

The concierge staff goes over the top to make your stay feel comfortable. The VIP/Gold status upgrade is very generous. All the restaurant staff, both at breakfast and dinner, make you feel at home.
