Was very disappointed in service I had made a 3 night reservation that I had to cancel and check out without staying the first night. I understand the first night had to be charged and paid, but very upset the other 2 nights were not even considered for a refund or partial refund. Upon arriving at the hotel there were scrupulous looking people hanging out outside of the entrance door I had to walk through to check in while they became quiet and staring at me. Had to go through 2 sets of doors, security cameras, and bullet proof class to check in. Was given only one room key for the 4 of us. Had to walk through a dark unlit tunnel to get to the back of the hotel where our room was. Again many people loitering and staring at us. The room door was ajar when we keyed in. There was a strange odor with stains on the carpet, bedding, towels, and ceiling. You could hear people in the room next to us, banging on the ceiling from the room above us, bathroom grout was black and dirty, people were staring in our window and I did not feel safe. Our party immediately decided we could not stay and leave anything unattended for any period of time. Was questioned why we were checking out and they did not understand we did not feel safe and rooms were not clean.

This is one of the first hotels I've been to where EVERYTHING was cleaned, including areas that are hidden or aren’t generally easy to see, like inside of the AC or beyond the bathroom vent’s cover. The room was small but cozy, and everything seemed updated and Hi-tech. Plenty of places to plug in devices including many USB charging ports available in convenient places around the room. No bugs, clean bedding, no dust or cobwebs to be found and window sill had fresh and intact seals with no dirt or debris to be found on window sill OR inside the track itself! Really, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of effort and thoroughness of their cleaning detail, and having two small children who explore every nook and cranny and love investigating crevices and such, it was really important to me that we had a clean room and for once, I didn’t have to spend the first few hours cleaning out room.

I paid $50 for the night. What do you expect for that? I got a very clean, charming room. Two beds, working TV, two bed lights, available plugs and places to charge my phone. (Many more amenities than the last place I stayed at!). The only drawbacks were dim lighting in the bathroom and loud people outside my door--but I was conveniently close to the office--and it was only because the yelling at someone at a distance when walking past my door, and the place all around outside looked dumpy. But a snack machine was right outside my door, and what appeared to be a clean laundry room around the corner. They had seating out front with tables and a dining area inside next to the office. The girl at the front desk (tacky office) could have been a lot friendlier. She seemed bored as heck. But otherwise, we really enjoyed the little room, and would love to have stayed longer. My suggestion to this motel is to clean up the outside. PLEASE. Anyone bringing their family there might be embarrassed. But the room was charming, as well as the location ofthe room.

We decided Not to stay there on arrival as the hotel felt unsafe. There were people looking into my vehicle windows when I was walking to my car. Then they complained that my dog was barking. Naturally, because he was protecting my property.
