"Mazar is a wonderful Riad. It’s stunning inside, with clean and comfortable beds. The staff is fantastic: warm hospitality, expert recommendations, and delicious breakfast. The Riad is at the edge of the Medina, so it’s close to the windy madness of the shouks but close to taxis and transport to other parts of Fez. Would absolutely stay there again. "

"This hotel was one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed at. It’s hard to overstate how beautiful it was inside the hotel and the rooms. The staff was more than welcoming and remembered us immediately. The food offered by the hotel was phenomenal, really providing a taste of Morocco. They offered to set us up with a licensed tour guide to take us around the Medina. Everything was immaculate and would stay here again! The only downside was the Spa didn’t seem accommodating to booking after arrival "

"We booked this Riad for our quick impromptu trip to Fez for coupe of days. We had a great experience staying at Le Grand Alcazar - Riad is beautiful, clean, has stunning architecture and convenient located to Fez Medina. It’s walking distance to major sightseeing: Blue gate, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Attarine Madra and more. Staff were very friendly, especially YUSUF! Yusuf is your go to person for anything you need, he can help you with booking day trip, recommendation for food, can bring you charger if your forgot yours, you name it and he will make it happen for you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Overall great location, great place, nice view from terrace, lots of vegetarian options for food near by. I highly recommend this place. "

"2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. And when I tried to tell that to the attendant- she wouldn’t even listen and denied that anything was wrong with the steam! That was really upsetting!!!"

"From our arrival to departure, the staff at Riad Braya provided outstanding service. We were able to check in early and welcomed with rose scented hand towels, mint tea and an assortment of delicious biscuits. Our room was large and very comfortable with lots of drawers and hanging space. Breakfast was filling with a range of options and good coffee. The rooftop terrace provided a panoramic view of Fes as well as comfortable loungers. Some reviews have complained about the smell from the bathroom- yes there are smells but the modern doors between the bedroom and bathroom prevent it spreading plus it is not strong or constant and as the manager has commented, is to be expected in an ancient building. We particularly appreciated having one staff member help with our luggage and taxi when we were leaving. A huge thank you to Tariq who helped us with a tour operator, Ayoub and Mohammed for your outstanding hospitality."
