"Fun and unusual cabin on the water with firepits, kayaks, a Jacuzzi, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of places to sleep. The layout is unusual, and the bathrooms are lacking - really only one full bath. We had great family times in the vaulted living room. The other "living space's" main feature was a queen bed and great skylights plus comfortable seating. There's a deck and a patio with an excellent propane grill. "Myself, my husband and our 2 young kids spent an amazing week at Pier280. The view of the late was spectacular! The kids had an amazing time exploring in the rocks and walking into the water. Everything about the cottage was perfect. They even had toys, a children's picnic table and child size chairs on the deck. The area was very quiet and everyone seemed friendly. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Really only good things to say! If we don’t purchase a cottage before next...

"We were a group of six: 4 adults + 2 kids (11&13) and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is easy walking distance, we also rode our bikes and ran on the road at the back of the house and we also played many games on the property: badminton, volleyball. The house is close to Kincardine, Port Elgin and Southampton and to MacGregor Provincial Park. It was a great stay, hosts are easy to communicate and the sunsets are beautiful!"

Close to hiking in McGregor Point Park, easy walk down to beach, great set up for evening roasted marshmallows on the beach, good shopping in Port Elgin and Southampton. It was unfortunate that we could not use the paddleboards or kayaks as the water was quite murky, so we didn't want to swim in it, but we would have liked to be on the water. We chose this cottage specifically because we thought we would be able to access the lake. "

"The Summerhouse was just as shown in the pictures . Absolutely beautiful, very comfortable and very quiet neighborhood. Southampton is such a nice little town. The walk along the beach is amazing. All in all a very restful time."
