"If you want a less expensive hotel that is safe, reasonably comfortable, reasonably clean for an old place, has great, friendly staff, a nice breakfast, etc. this is your place! It is a couple block's walk to a great REY grocery store, pharmacies, the ocean/walking/bike path, etc.--super convenient. The area and adjacent buildings are definitely run down, but that is normal for the area, in my experience. It seems safe enough. We would definitely stay here again!"

"I wish the hotel had a rooftop pool, bar, restaurant option beside the principle pool downstairs. exercise room needs updating in a larger space with newer, better equipments and a view. Such classes as yoga, dance or stretching could possibly be offered to guests."

"The Hilton has not failed me yet! The hotel was excellent! The location is ideal, good resturants within the hotel as well as surrounding, the pool was nice (a little cold for my liking but a great area), and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the room was just a nice place to relax when inside. The water was not super hot but got the job done. The staff was always familiar and helpful and room service was quick and efficient. The area the hotel is in is great! Plenty of restaurants outside the hotel in walking distance (Catch Seafood or Oh-Toro Ramen & Sushi to name a couple) and a drug store right across the street for cheaper water and snacks. I stayed here 5 days and 4 nights and definitely cannot wait to return!"
