"Stayed there before catching our flight the following morning. Right from check in to check out, we were treated exceptionally courteously by each and every staff member with always a smile on their faces. "Absolutely gorgeous views all around the property. Staff is kind and attentive. Room a little small but doable. Property looks new. Very well maintained. We didn’t have much luck with the food but it may be because our taste buds are different. If you are here do get a massage. It was the best massage I had outside of Thailand. My neck pain is gone and I’m happy. "

An exceptional heritage hotel to Yogyakarta

"The interior from the entrance to reception and lobby has a spacious character of a forest. Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. Such a pleasure to celebrate our vacation with this project which reflects timelessness between tradition and modernity. Congratulations to the architects. A+!! "

"The breakfast was good. Staff are friendly. They only had one elevator working so that was a bit inconvenient. The location of the hotel is good. It was a few minutes walk to Galleria Mall. It was a bit far from Malioboro. Here are plenty of nearby eateries "

"We love the hotel and enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet. We ate dinner there and the food was good. Bizarrely, wine was unbelievably expensive with the cheapest bottle being over $200. When we said that the restaurant and the front desk they said that a lot of people say that. Roaster and bear around the corner is a very good restaurant with $30 bottles of wine. "

Great Value Hotel in Good Location

"Great value hotel located close to shops and restaurants and a short taxi ride from the Sultan’s Palace, Water Castle etc. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and food in general all very good. We did a tour to Borobudur and Prambanan Temples through the hotel and our driver, Mudi, was excellent. Very safe and always had cold water waiting for us after each visit. "

"Excellent, serene, peaceful, relaxing location surrounded by dense forest and views of mountains, rice field, villages and Borobudur temple! The staff were the super host - very humble, welcoming, and agile service! The staff understood and served well on our requested dietary preference for Jain and Vegetarian Chinese Indonesian food! The day breaks at 4pm with call for prayers so be prepared to start and end the day early! "
