"This is a wonderful place, basically two large spaces with the bedroom/bathroom/sitting area toward the front, with a view of Fishhook Lake - oh and also a balcony. In the rear is the kitchen and another seating area with a different kind of great view, the quiet trees of the property's large acreage. Very private and very quiet."

"Great place to take the whole family. All 19 of us were accommodated nicely and there were plenty for the kids to do as well. They especially loved the theater room. The property was nice and clean when we arrived. Kelly had great communication with me the whole time and always replied to my questions within a few hours of asking. Everyone is already talking about coming back for the summers now! "

"Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here. The kids loved sitting around the bonfire and making s’mores. Our puppy loved running around inside the fenced area and joining us on our family trip. The location of this home was convenient for visiting Itasca State Park. The only thing we found disappointing was that the dock was already pulled in. Our boys were looking forward to being able to fish off the dock. The owners were very communicative and shared with us a location near by for fishing....

"Wow... Just WOW!!! Our family celebrated a late Christmas together at John & Wendy's amazing lodge, and it was absolutely spectacular - one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! The entire lodge is immaculate and gorgeous, the layout was perfect for our large family, the amenities were wonderful (and plentiful), it is located in a stunning location, the kitchen was stocked to the hilt with brand new everything, communication was amazing...
