"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "Beautiful classy hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff, you even get a free ride around the City in a vintage Bentley. Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was the pillows, but this criticism can be levelled at most hotels, I guess they can’t use feather pillows for allergy reasons. Note to self, Will bring my own next time! "

"Pub is lovely, great atmosphere, outdoor winter seating was cosy and a real selling point. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. It could have done with a more powerful shower. Slightly disappointed as didn't realise we would be staying away from the pub.
