"We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. The site up on the side of a wooded hill was really quiet and relaxing, had great views and lovely countryside or riverside walks. The large private garden and facilities...

"Très bon séjour en Dordogne dans ce gite idéalement situé pour les decouvertes et les ballades. Problème de connexion wifi tres vite résolu par la propriétaire très reactive.A recommander même si l'accès, pour les motos, n'est pas des plus favorables (pente en graviers)."

"The house was very well equipped and a great set-up for us. We used all the seating areas, the pool, the grassy garden with the adirondack chairs, the picnic table, the patio table right outside the kitchen. It was so fun. We all enjoyed it so much. The location was ideal! We rented E-Bikes from Libery-Cycle which were awesome. We rode all over the Dordogne Valley on the bike trails. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family. "Pool was amazing, the house had everything you could need, kitchen utilities, games, baby cot and high chair, etc. Communication from owners was good. Wonderful location, could walk into Sarlat town easily. We would highly recommend!"

"Accueil très chaleureux, nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, nous avons pu découvrir le charme de leur petit hameau. Très bel endroit si on cherche du calme entouré de nature (grands espaces, vaches, une belle vue le matin) tout en disposant de services de proximité à 10 mn en voiture. Le coin piscine est très agréable, la maison propre et tout à disposition. Une adresse à découvrir !"

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
