"Very nice and spacious hotel room! We had a fireplace in our room, though we didn’t need it. There’s no air conditioner, so we did have to open the bathroom window to cool it off at the end of the day. It’s an older hotel but it was, hands down, the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen in my life! Very well kept property and the staff were amazing!"

"My friends and I stayed for a couple days for my birthday and it was a great stay, food was good but had limited options, wish the hot tub worked but it’s ok. Everything in the room was nice only thing I would say negatively is I wish the floors were a little cleaner, we took our shoes off and walked around for maybe 5-10 min and our feet were black. Overall great stay though thank you! "

"The snacks in the evening and the breakfast were great. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only downside was we picked a room with a balcony, but we couldn’t go out on the balcony because it was swarming with bugs, night and day."

"5 STARS..... I absolutely loved this place. The rooms are clean, and the beds were comfortable, grounds are well kept. The staff was amazing I was able to communicate via text, and all my wishes were met quickly . I had the opportunity to visit the bar with complementary wine card they gave us when we got there, it was a birthday trip, and after a long day at the aquarium, it was welcomed . They even have smores service ,nice touch. Such a nice and relaxed atmosphere the bartender was very helpful with questions I had. I also was able to have a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant I had pancakes verry good, then I was entertained by dolphins passing by, and my server was great. Yes it is expensive and you have to pay for parking but can you really put a price on a wonderful experience? I also like its not to close to the to the Chaos of downtown but close enough to get there in few minutes and its dog friendly with immediate entrance to the beach. I highly recommend would absolutely do it again. Thank you Monterey Beach Hotel, A Tribute portfolio Hotel, for making our stay a joyful experience, I cant say enough Just thank you, from all of us!"
