"A wonderful cottage, surrounded with trees full of songbirds. Conveniently located on Pelee Island...the ferry, restaurants, the marina and co-op are a short bike ride away. We loved our stay at Amongst Friends so much that we booked again this year!"

"We chose this property because of its location on a swimming beach. The views and the water were perfect. The property manager, Madeline, was right next door and was very helpful. We enjoyed using the camp chairs to enjoy the deck and I also used the lounge chair when I was swimming. There were pool noodles and beach toys available too. The kitchen had everything we needed without feeling cluttered. The property had a very homey feeling and the furniture in the living room was very comfortable. My one suggestion would be to update and streamline the printed property instructions, especially for checkout. There were several partial copies there and the instructions included taking the trash to a facility that was closed on our check-in day -- even if the facility had been open, we already had a full car. Trimming the checkout list to the essentials would make for a friendlier departure. The best feature of the property is the location on the East side of the island. If you get up early enough you can have coffee with a view of the sunrise and maybe even catch a freighter or a sailboat on the horizon. "

"The refurbished garage is a perfect couples getaway it 4 klms to point pelee national park and 1.7 klms to marina where you can access ferry to go to pelee island for a dayd trip."
