"Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. Blinds could be improved, getting a little tired but servicable enough. A fabulous relaxing stay, i have recommeded to friends, and I'm keen to return myself!"

"Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...

"My husband and I stayed at this home for 3 nights in February 2023. Everything about the stay was perfect. The home is positioned on a corner next to a quiet boat launch which made for easy access to the beach (which was beautiful - we swam every day!). The features of the home created an outdoor living space with their big windows and retractable sunshades. "A great house for us, 3 adults & 111 year old. Convenient for showing family the beaches & getting on a Cape Reinga trip! Shops & restaurants within 2 km. Just beautiful looking out the ranch sliders & kitchen window.Only downers were no curtain on a small highup window in double room - we covered it cos we didnt want to wake up with the sun : ).
