"I stayed here one night and it was perfectly nice, a bit of a maze and a small bathroom, but that's pretty standard for old buildings. The room was comfy and the location was convenient, and it was a very good price (especially in the off season). It's got some quirks, though. Like I said, it had a small bathroom and shower with nowhere to put your toiletries in the shower, so I had to put them on the ground, which was a bit tricky in the narrow stall. It’s 2 min walk up the hill to Branklyn Gardens and tea room. The property is also near to Kinoull Hill and other walks. "Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. "

"My two friends and I had a weekend away at Logie Cottages. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is a very high standard and has all the amenities you might need. The hot tub was great and the setting is picturesque. Georgina allowed us to check in early. I would recommend staying here. "
