"This hotel is in a great location if you want to visit Melkbosstrand, which in itself is a great area to visit in Cape Town. The hotel is modern and about 500m to the beach and restaurants. Things lacking… no wine opener to open a bottel of wine for 3 nights… apparently there is only one person who has one and they were off on the weekend… shower door doesn’t close so bathroom floor is very slippery… chair in room broken… no generator so during load shedding, no lights/tv/etc in rooms. " Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. No air con was on at breakfast which would have been nice but the breakfast was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities but overall a lovely location and nicely presented hotel "

"The location was spot on... Staff friendly..... Room was not as clean as I hoped for Windows not clean shower didn't work properly Shower drain didn't work properly no hand soap.... Blinds was not working..... But when it came to bfast I was shocked ONLY aloud 1 cofee if you want more drinks you have to pay for it..... Also soaps in room was poor and gave powder milk in rooms for cofee It didn't have that lush feel to it..... More money making feel..... Sad as it has alot going for it.... "

"They have a maximum 2 guest policy but I had booked with 2 children. They allowed us to continue with the reservation as well as provided a cot. Very friendly staff and very helpful with information. Laundry services are also available at an extra cost. Nice quiet neighbourhood "

"The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were crisp and clean. The space in the penthouse was amazing with enough beds and room for our whole family. The views were spectacular!!! "This property was located further out than expected due to the traffic going to all the tourist sites like Lions head, Cape of good Hope, etc. But if you are okay with a 30-40 Uber/Taxi ride then it’s an excellent place to stay. The staff was amazing, and even while they were short staffed they did an amazing job. I upgraded to Studio 3 since it was available and was worth every dollar spent. "The hotel is well appointed and conveniently located on the Cape Town waterfront. Our room was very large, clean and quiet. The bar and restaurant served excellent cocktails and food, but what really made our stay perfect was the staff. From the front desk to the doormen to the waiters and bartenders, everyone was cheerful, helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend AC Hotel Marriott."
