"This property wasn’t in great condition. The pool needed some love, it had stains and had green algae growing on the metal fixtures. The paint was peeling off of the pool chairs and it didn’t look comfortable. The bedding wasn’t great, the bed was uncomfortably firm and the AC wasn’t working well. We left and found accommodation somewhere else. "
"I think that if you love camping and don't mind seeing some tiny flying critters in the room, this is a great place for you. The room is basic but it's got a wonderful view of the mountains and the river that the boat tours pass through. The host was nice to talk with and was helpful with your questions (in English). "Our host Wah couldn't have been more hospitable and friendly. The room was airconditioned on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and room clean and spacious. We had bicycles to use to meander into the main city via a quite back road. Wah helped us with booking tix for the car and our bus journey to our next location. Definately loved loved this stay."

"Our stay here was wonderful. Quiet, nice bed, you can use their bikes to explore. I can’t say enough about the staff. They got us breakfast early and told us we are welcome to use the shower when we were done with our trek. When we went outside by the pool to have a drink at night, they turned on all the string lights just for us. "

"Awesome place to have a laid back stay in Phong Nha. We went in January and were the only ones in the hotel. Originally we had booked 2 bunks but when we arrived they put us in 2 private rooms. Not sure if it was a mixup or an upgrade but it was a nice change after a month sharing rooms. "
