Passengers are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. Guests must pay the speedboat fee in advance online or at the property on arrival. Return speedboats are available for up to 10 persons between dawn and dusk, subject to weather conditions.

Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was worried about staying here because we had to pick between this and Phi Phi due to the length of our trip, and I’m so glad we picked this. Was my favorite part of Thailand so far. The hotel is so beautiful, and where you breakfast each day has a panoramic view of the ocean. Food is great. We liked the green curry. The beach is quiet and serene. The whole resort is relaxing. But it also has options for excursions you can book through the hotel, including to see the islands in the bay. We ended up booking through the company outside the hotel to tour the islands by longboat and that was incredible.

Very pretty hotel and views. Food is mediocre at best. Check/in out is a pain. Restaurants are 30’ apart and the menu applies to both, but you can’t order some of the food even though it is on the menu. Would not stay again. Had to fill out a survey on the food while someone held an iPad at dinner — very awkward.

Villa was in need of repairs, so much so that floor boards were rotten and broke under foot. Highlighted to staff who initially suggested we move a table over the broken flooring. Not safe so we insisted we move due this health and safety. We were moved after we insisted. Staff, however, were friendly and polite. No apologies. Will sadly not book here again

Overall a great trip if you want someone a little out of the way and are there purely for rest and relaxation. Hotel lovely but a bit of a norse having to go up and down seep hill from the room after novelty wore off. Loved the free massage before breakfast & the breakfast room & food really good whatever your taste. Main pool fabulous! Beach would have been much better if they did a bit of a sweep up/rake first thing like some hotels do… beach was so much nicer at the hotel next door (?). There are some shops and nice little local restaurants just up the road off the end of the beach. Very good overall but three nights was enough for us.

This is my second stay, the service and hotel is exceptional! Rooms, staff and hotel are amazing and can’t wait to come again. We went on different tours from the elephant visit, to Krabi to Phi Phi to the Bond Island. This hotel is worth every £ spent. The staff are amazing and make you feel like royalty! Lovely balcony and view from room. Most of the staff were super friendly. The buffet was never hot, breakfast or evening meal. The walls are very thin between rooms, we could hear coughing every morning. Have to get a car from your room to the lobby/beach area. The additional services they offer, tours, massages etc are all very expensive.

A place to visit many, many times. The panoramic views from room & restaurants, the Thai environment and construction makes this resort an unique beautiful destination. Amazing food & service. Superb Spa. Wonderful hospiltality.

A wonderful oasis to relax. Loved the tropical landscaping and traditional build of the resort and because its spread out with two separate pools, the beautiful beach, several restaurants and lots of different areas to relax in, it never seemed full of people. Enjoyed using the resort library with books in so many languages to take out. We have to say all the Staff at the resort were absolutely outstanding, so happy, polite and friendly, every staff member greeted you so graciously every single time we passed in the resort or entered a building, they are a credit to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 14 days at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai, for a complete relax and highly recommend it to escape the rat race.

The property is stunning. I cannot say enough good about how beautiful it is and how woderful the staff are. We felt like royalty while there. With that being said, i think there are areas for improvement. One of them being the check in process. It took forever. Another is the price of meals and other things at the resort. I realize they have a monopoly, but that's no excuse to charge extra just because they can. Those minor things would not deter us from staying there again though.

We absolutely loved staying here. It's such a beautiful resort. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Made us feel right at home since we arrived. The only down fall was that you need to get a water Taxi anytime you need to get off the island. It's only accessible by boat. So if you want to visit Puhket or any other island you need to get a water Taxi. But other then that, we had a great time. And really enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I enjoyed our beautiful stay at Santhiya for our honeymoon! We opted for the Seawater view villa with the private pool and it was so so worth it. We also arrived to decorations on our bed reading “Happy Honeymoon”. The staff were really thoughtful and the views from the bedroom were jaw dropping. The food was incredible everywhere, so many options we spent a week there and went to all 3 buffets. On top of that you are spoilt for choice at the breakfast buffet. You will not go hungry! The gym was perfect and I also did 3 Muay Thai sessions. We enjoyed a massage on the beach, cocktails at the infinity pool at sunset and enjoyed the live music. I have nothing to complain about it was amazing. This is the ideal place if you want to completely switch off and relax. Can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely beautiful - water was so warm to swim-private pool was great- all the tours were excellent and the transport was uneventful and stress free! Food was amazing especially the breakfast! Staff was the best always happy and accommodating!
