"Beautiful view of Pelorus Sound. Short drive from Havelock. Local beach not awesome for swimming but a short drive to good swimming in Anakiwa. Good hiking and MTB tracks close by. House was very well appointed. Spotty cell service and no wifi."

"The view was absolutely stunning. We spent every afternoon and evening enjoying the view and listening to the local birds. Kitchen was well equipped as was the linen cupboard which made our stay very easy. We had an amazing time thank you! "

"Lovely location, tucked away in Grovetown. Owners house is on the same site about 50 metres away. Very tidy and in excellent condition. Bach is not the building in the photo, but a part of the bottom floor - doesn't have a kitchen as such - just bench. So cooking is plug in electic hob and bench oven. No water in kitchen, so food, washing is all to be done in thebasin in bathroom next to the toilet - which is a bit of a pain if people are in the bathroom."

"We absolutely loved the tranquility and location of this unit. We were really ready to simply rest and relax in a beautiful spot at this point in our vacation and this was perfect for our family of four. Everyone had privacy but it was also well provisioned for a family. Be aware that it isn't close to much so be sure to get groceries on your way there because once you're there you won't want to leave."

"Spacious house with all the bits that you need for a comfortable stay. The dishwasher and sun shade were brilliant, lots of games and DVD's. Absolutely stunning views!A lovely (but steep) bush walk to the cove which was beautiful. The listing said 'private beach cove' which we thought was going to be from the property and no one else there but others do access it.Over all we had a wonderful stay."

"The house has a wonderful view over the Mahakipawa Arm. We spent three beautiful nights there. When we arrived, there were a few issues with cleanliness which I shared with the property manager. It's a lovely, albeit basic space. We were a party of three, and we cooked every night. Kitchen items were limited, just enough to accomodate basic meals for our small group. If I was in a larger party or staying for a longer period of time I would prefer a more equipped kitchen. The lighting in the...

"The house is perfect, has everything you need, stunning views and we enjoyed hiking up the summit. Having the private beach to ourselves was awesome. A lovely place to spend time as a family and away from civilisation."
