"This is my second visit to this idyllic spot in Moorea. A family run group of budget rustic cottages on the lagoon next door to the Hilton. The onsite restaurant serves very high quality food and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel sits oceanfront on a beautiful area of the lagoon with rays, sharks and fish cruising by all day. Air conditioned rooms which is rare in Tahiti and kayaks included, good for family on a budget. "

Many hotels offered limited and expensive day pass options, or a night booking with check-in around 1400! This was a $40 taxi ride but a nice, simple but comfortable guest house with great views.
