"This is a must visit bed and breakfast property. It overlooks downtown Placerville and is a 3 minute drive to main street. Room was large and comfortable with coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast, which was brought to our room was delicious. "

"We really liked the gated dog area. It’s a very short walk to the river. Both dogs liked the swimming, Rosie batted around acorns, chewed on acorns, barked at the deer, she got car sick both directions going up and down the narrow windy road. Yes we would stay here again. Oh, the cabin has everything!!!"

"This property is beautiful and well-maintained. Just lovely throughout, and the grounds are wonderful. We saw deer wander through, a resident peacock (but never heard him!), a gorgeous red-shouldered hawk all from our balcony. Each morning at 9:00 they leave a basket outside your door with a lovely breakfast - VERY nice! The only suggestions I might have would be replacing some of the antique/vintage furniture (Buena Vista Suite) with more practical/comfortable items. A nice ruby red love seat and two comfy armchairs would still fit the theme but offer some more comfort to guests. Overall, though, it was a wonderful time away. "
