The staff was wonderful. The lady checking us in was super attentive and helpful. We followed her advice on how to visit the lakes and we don't regret it. Great advice! The dinner served at Rustic lodge is delicious and good value for money. Definitely recommend having dinner there. Breakfast is good and as you would expect in Croatia although the plus is a made to arrival warm omelet which was very good and very well made. Thank you very much for everything!

Small family-run lodging. Very good multi-course dinner available, with inside and outside seating options. The only minor inconvenience was that we weren't aware that they don't accept credit cards, necessitating an ATM run for cash.

Rustic architecture blends in really well with the surroundings. Run by a very friendly family who does all the cleaning and cooking. Breakfast was great. We asked for late checkout and it was given without a problem.

This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in recent travels. It was so cozy and comfortable as well as being convenient to entrances to the park. The family/staff are what make it so special. They are friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed having dinner and breakfast there. Would definitely return if we're in the area again.

Family owned lodge. The host Mickey was friendly, accommodating and helpful. It is a small lodge hotel but it's very clean and spacious. Home cooked 4 course dinner and buffet breakfast was delicious. Love the outside seating area. It was a pleasant stay. Note that they only accept cash.

Beautiful Sobe/Inn out side of Plitvice National Park. Dining options are a yummy breakfast buffet and 4 course dinner. Tasty homemade soups,salad, veggie entree and dessert. Entree choices are Trout, Pork,Chicken and veggie. Wine and beer for sale. Gorgeous outside dining or cocktail hour. Family owned. We did not have a car. The taxi was pricey to go a few miles. For us that was better than driving to the park. Highly recommend

Rustic lodge was perfect for our stay at Plitvice Lakes. It is so close to Bothell entrances & was very comfortable. The dinner they offered was amazing value & delicious. It was so good to be able to eat at the lodge after a big day walking.

This was an amazing overnight stay! We went to Plitvice Entrance 1, which was as 4 miles from the lodge. The lodge was extremely clean and comfortable. Love the outdoor seating area and the food was great. They don’t accept cards, cash only! I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Rustic Lodge for two nights in order to go on a hike in Plitvice Lakes and had a lovely time. The room was very clean and beautiful, really nicely located in the attic. The bathroom was especially gorgeous and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they make a yummy fresh breakfast. One of the staff members even gave us a ride to the bus stop, which was much appreciated. That's one thing to note, we didn't have a car and it proved to be a bit of an issue as we had to take expensive cabs everywhere, just something to keep in mind! Very much recommend staying here when you come to the area :)

The Rustic Lodge Plitvice is a very pleasant property located very close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. We drove from Zadar to the park on June 17th and had fabulous weather for our visit to the park. The ‘H’ trail was our choice with about a 4 hour hike with a short boat excursion across the lake near the end of the hike. Following our hike around the lakes and waterfalls (spectacular!), we checked into the Lodge and found a very pleasant and comfortable room. We had supper and breakfast at the Lodge restaurant and both were very good. Our only complaint was that they were having WiFi issues and it was very difficult to maintain connections for more than a minute or two. Overall, this is an excellent destination hotel if you are planning to hike the trails in the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
