"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. We will be back during our travels. Thanks"

"Absolutely beautiful building. We enjoyed the ambience and swing-jazz music playing softly in the glass-ceilinged courtyard. We appreciated having two armchairs and a coffee table. It is a shame that the housekeeping team were unable to remove or mask the unpleasant smell in our room. It seemed to come from the basin in the bathroom but permeated into the bedroom. "

"This property is good for short stay in this town, we rented for four adults and this was too small in space, there is only a big bed for two and a sofa-bed for other two people divided by a tv set in between, the room for four people has to be bigger not this one. also we found the security box broken. and only a little bathroom for all four adults it is uncomfortable. "We’re just sorry we arrived late and had to check out early for wine tastings in the morning. A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary. "
