Magnifique
Un grand merci pour votre accueil chaleureux, nous avons apprécié les fruits et autres présents pour notre premier petit déjeuner. La maison est spacieuse, confortable, très bien équipée , la terrasse idéale pour se détendre face à la mer... La piscine est agréable, nous repartons ravis de notre séjour.

Vue spectaculaire
L'accueil par les propriétaires fut très aimable et l'apartment comme décrit sur internet (minus une toilette qui ne fonctionnait que "manuellement"). A part ce petit minus, nous avons passé 2 semaines magnifiques. L'apartment est très spacieux et il y a une très grande terrasse avec une vue absolument spectaculaire sur la mer et les montagnes. La piscine est très agréable. Le jour de notre départ, les propriétaires ont été très aimables et flexibles et nous ont permis de rester dans l'apartment au-dessus pendant quelques heures parce que notre vol ne partait qu'à 21h30. L'appartement est très bien située pour explorer la côte sous le vent de la Basse Terre et le Parc National. Il y a de très belles plages à proximité. Il faut absolument avoir une voiture et ne pas avoir peur de "monter au ciel", la petite route d'access étant très inclinée, mais les routes inclinées sont normales en Basse Terre.

Séjour très agréable sur la côte sous le vent
Nous avons passé une quinzaine très agréable avec nos trois enfants à la villa Canopus. La maison est très agréable et spacieuse. Il ne fait jamais trop chaud car elle est située en hauteur dans une zone bien aérée. De ce fait pas de moustiques... La piscine "privée" est un réel plus, ainsi que le jardin sans vis à vis ni promiscuité. L'accueil de Monsieur et Madame Choucoutou fut très chaleureux. Je recommande cette location.

Relaxing, Beautiful Villa with a Spectacular View
Absolutely loved staying at this Villa in Guadeloupe! The Villa has a spectacular view of the ocean, the mountains and beautiful flowers. The owners greeted us at the villa and checked in with us later in the week. We would definitely stay there again!

Vacances de rêve dans un petit coin de paradis...
Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel à la Villa de Pointe-Noire. L'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir la côte ouest de Basse-Terre. C'est tranquille et l'endroit permet de connaître la Guadeloupe rurale et authentique. Nous étions 5 personnes (3 adultes et 2 enfants) et tout le monde a pu dormir confortablement dans un lit. Grande terrasse vraiment pratique pour prendre les repas. Les enfants ont adorés la piscine. La vue est reposante. C'est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Petit détail intéressant : il y a deux salles de bain complètes et une salle d'eau avec douche. Au total, il y a quatre douches ! La villa était très propre. Les propriétaires ont été discrets, accueillants et fort serviables. Merci à la famille Choucoutou ! Francis B.

Lovely place!
This home was wonderful. We loved the view and the outdoor seating arrangements had such a vacation island feel. The kitchen provided for our needs and had some spices and condiments that are so nice since we cook some when traveling. Very clean. Nice pool.We were very happy to have a king size bed. It was very firm and we like that. Mme and Mssr. Choucoutou were helpful and patient with our lack of French. I will note the hill up to the house require some finesse since it is quite steep and you have to go quickly Up in first gear. My husband didn’t mind but it could be tricky We had a wonderful stay and will hope to come again!!

Very nice property with a fabulous view
We enjoyed a one-week stay at this comfortable villa. The hosts were very accommodating. The outdoor area with dining table and couches was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and the saltwater pool was always inviting. The driveway up to the villa was steep and took a bit of getting used to. The location was good and many good restaurants are nearby.

La location est tout à fait en adéquation avec sa présentation sur le site et les appréciations formulées. Elle est superbe, très propre et parfaitement bien équipée. La vue est sublime, la piscine est magnifique, le confort est parfait avec de très grands couchages dans les 2 chambres et au pied de la villa se situe un très beau jardin très bien entretenu. L’emplacement de cette location sur Basse Terre, le rapport prix-confort- appréciations et les photos du site nous avaient décidés. Nous avons tout apprécié et nous ne nous sommes pas trompés. Avec toute notre estime, notre sympathie et notre reconnaissance, merci à vous, Monsieur et Madame Choucoutou, pour votre formidable accueil que nous n’oublierons jamais et merci pour le super dépannage du 1er jour ; pour nous aussi, vous avez contribué grandement pour que nos vacances en famille soient inoubliables. Un Magnifique séjour dans la Villa Canopus
Cette villa est tout simplement magnifique. Bien située et parfaitement équipée, notre séjour d'un mois a été un ravissement de tous les instants. pouvoir nager dans la piscine tout en profitant de la vue , c'est tout simplement magique. Magnifique location !
Superbe location sur les hauteurs de Pointe noire, l’équipement de la villa est très complet et récent ! Propriétaires sympathiques se souciant du bien être de leurs locataires. Majestueux coucher de soleil depuis la piscine avec un admirable point de vue entre mer et montagne. Vous ne trouverez pas mieux
Nous avons passé 6 jours parfaits dans ce gite impeccable et particulièrement bien équipé. En plus du salon nous avons bénéficié de 2 grandes chambres avec chacune sa SdE et ses toilettes. Vous y serez comme chez vous avec un confort haut de gamme pour un prix défiant toute concurrence. Si nous revenons en Guadeloupe, nous espérons pouvoir séjourner de nouveau ici. Les enfants étaient ravis et ont eu le bénéfice de la piscine pour eux seuls. Les propriétaires sont prévenants mais discrets. Seule appréhension, la montée vers la villa. Passez la 1ere et ça ira sans problème. Je conseille cette location les yeux fermés.

Haus mit wunderschönem Ausblick
Die Villa Canopus liegt in Pointe-Noire am Berghang und verfügt über einen wunderbaren Blick in die Landschaft und auf das Meer bis hin nach Montserrat. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in der unteren Etage der Villa. Die oberen Etagen sind den Vermietern vorbehalten, wobei sie während unseres Aufenthalts nicht dauerhaft genutzt wurden. Da die Vermieter sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und rücksichtsvoll sind und die Privatsphäre ihrer Mieter extrem achten, nahmen wir ihre Anwesenheit kaum wahr. Sie waren für uns immer erreichbar und haben unseren Urlaub so angenehm wie möglich gestaltet. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns noch einmal für den Langustenabend. Wir schwärmen heute noch davon. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine extrem große und gut ausgestattete, wettergeschützte Terrasse und der gesamte Außenbereich der Villa inklusive großem Pool ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Die beiden Doppelzimmer sind räumlich voneinander durch einen Wohnraum getrennt und verfügen über ein En-Suite-Bad bzw. ein Badezimmer mit separatem WC. Sie haben auch jeweils einen direkten Zugang zur Terrasse. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und gepflegt. Die Küche im kreolischen Stil ist abgetrennt vom Wohnbereich über die Terrasse erreichbar und verfügt über alle notwendigen Geräte. Sogar eine Nespresso-Maschine ist vorhanden, dafür ist die normale Kaffeemaschine etwas zu klein ausgefallen. Im Poolbereich befindet sich eine Außendusche und es stehen Sonnenliegen und ein Grillkamin zur Verfügung. Hier befindet sich zudem ein weiterer Nassbereich mit Dusche, Toilette und Waschmaschine. Alle notwendigen Hausutensilien (Handtücher, Badetücher, Toilettenpapier, Putz- und Spülsachen etc.) waren bei unserer Ankunft vorhanden. Die traumhafte Lage der Villa hat leider einen Nachteil, auf den wir unbedingt hinweisen müssen: Die Zufahrt ist steil, EXTREM STEIL (teilweise geschätzte 45 Grad Steigung), und nur geübten Fahrern mit stark motorisiertem PKW zu empfehlen. Mit unserem Wagen (Opel Meriva) war die Hochfahrt fast unmöglich und insbesondere bei Regen eine Herausforderung.

Exceptionnelle
Location tout simplement exceptionnelle pour le tarif proposé. Équipement plus que complet. Propriétaire Disponible et discret. Un jardin où poussent mangue, bananes, pamplemousse, citron, cerise... Une vue superbe avec d'un côté la mer des Caraïbes et de l'autre le parc national et ses massifs. La piscine fait le bonheur des enfants et des plus grands.

Location de vacances absolument grandiose, pas la peine de chercher le moindre défaut, vous n'en trouverez pas. La vue, la propreté, l'emplacement, l'équipement et le confort,tout est parfais. Les photos et la description du proprio sont largement en dessous de la réalité. La gentillesse du propriétaire , sa disponibilité et sa discrétion sont à souligner également. Bref si vous cherchez un petit coin de paradis à basse-terre, allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Traumhafte Ferien in der Karibik
Wir, zwei befreundete Ehepaare, haben einen unvergesslichen Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung der Familie Choucoutou „über den Dächern von Point-Noire“ verbracht. Die Unterkunft, getrennt in zwei Wohneinheiten mit jeweils eigenem Badezimmer, einer nach zwei Seiten offenen gemeinsamen Küche, den täglich vom Vermieter gereinigten Pool und der atemberaubenden Aussicht von der Terrasse auf das karibische Meer hat unsere Vorstellungen bei weitem übertroffen. In einem sehr gepflegten und sauberen Ambiente haben wir sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten des karibischen Lebens genießen können. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung der gesamten Unterkunft war zum Zeitpunkt unserer Reise qualitativ hochwertig und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Familie Choucoutou hat durch ihre Aufmerksamkeit und ihr freundschaftliches, aber keineswegs aufdringliches Auftreten, wesentlichen Anteil am Wohlfühlcharakter unseres Aufenthaltes. Die Feriengäste sollten sich bei ihrer Ankunft allerdings darauf einstellen, dass die Auffahrt zur Unterkunft etwas steil ist. Es ist daher ratsam, sich bei der Anmietung am Flughafen für einen etwas PS-stärkeren PkW zu entscheiden. Lassen sich davon jedoch nicht abschrecken; der Ausblick und die Unterkunft werden sie für alles entschädigen. Am Strand der Grande Anse und in Deshaies selbst befinden sich zahlreiche schmucke Restaurants. Hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis entspricht dabei europäischem Standard. In der Nähe der Unterkunft befinden sich unterschiedliche Strände, an denen sich hervorragend baden und schnorcheln lässt und tolle Sonnenuntergänge beobachten lassen.
