"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"

"The host spared no details when putting this home together. Personal soaps, coffee, extra blankets etc. made for a very comfortable stay. Home was very clean and linens smelled freshly washed. Aside from the home which was all great I was not too keen on the drive to and from on a single lane road, especially at night. Although we aren't unfamiliar driving on mountanous roads, we dont do it everyday so I'd recommend getting there while its still light out if you are like us. "

We were just craving some time in nature to hang out, eat good food and be cozy. :) Nice clean cabin, thoughtfully appointed, a wood burning stove and lots of big trees gave us everything we wanted. "Just wow! The property is stunning. And the house has such a wonderful cabin vibe. So much space for kids to sleep (there are foldout couches in the play room). We loved the outdoor swing and played on it for hours. The property is fenced so dogs can run around. Also stocked with everything you could possibly need. "We had a great stay at this cabin nestled in Smith Flat. Location was perfect for a day at Apple Hill, Placerville or Sly Park(Jenkinson Lake) The house is really cozy with plenty of room for a large family of three couples. Very beautiful surroundings with a wonderful deck above the garage. The stars are amazing at night. Only complaint was downstairs bathroom was alittle dirty upon arrival.
