"Really very nice home stay near to the lake and the Museum. The landlady is very helpful and does everything to make the stay comfortable . The bycicle is brought to your room, this is the best way to see the sites, also the entrance is quite near. In the evening the landlady cooks a nice curry for you - or whatever you want - and she also has beer! All in all a very agreeable stay. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner though."

"Needed a hotel in the Polonnaruwa area so we could tour the ruins in the early part of the morning but also wanted to have a swimming pool to cool off in after the tour & here fitted the request for both .
