"We had an amazing time at Bear Haven. The cabin felt very homey. Only reason I gave the cleanliness 3 stars, was because the hot-tub didn’t seem to be cleaned. The property managers were very responsive to all our questions. I would recommend the furniture be upgraded. The location was amazing even though Homewood ski resort was closed for this season the drive to Palisades Tahoe was not bad at all. I highly recommend this place for a familiy or families. "

"Just the right amount of space and amenities for two. Great kitchen, cozy furniture all around. Slightly disappointed that the loft was blocked off during our stay (as it looks accessible in the pictures), but it ultimately didn't factor into our enjoyment. The best part of the cabin was that upon checking in, the fireplace and the hot tub were ALREADY running and ready to go. Instant warmth and comfort. Would happily come back to this cozy cabin in the future."

"I was nervous based on other reviews, but it appears the property manager has been listening. We had no issues with how the place was stocked: toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, and basic kitchen items (salt, pepper, cooking oil, spices, etc) were there. I would put it as in line with most rental properties. Layout of place is great: Bedroom w. sleeping for 3 on the bottom floor (and a full bath), master suite and a separate very large loft upstairs. "Everything was beautiful. The layout of the cabin is great for families and friends. The hot tub has a great view of the trees and snow. The outdoor fire pit helped us stay warm when hanging out on the balcony. The kitchen was clean and stocked with dish ware and cook ware. "We loved this clean house. It was fully equipped. Full kitchen, bathrooms had everything. It was nicely decorated. Our only issue was that there was no porch to sat on. Also, the nearlby snow place (5 min away) was closed so we had to drive 30-40 min to get somewhere."

"Great place, but no A/C. We were there in July and it was unreasonable hot in the upstairs bedrooms to the point of not being able to sleep. The fans provided were adorable, but not enough to make a dent with keeping the air circulated. Keep this in mind during the summer, it will be HOT in that house and unbearable. Also, it would have been nice to be notified that there is a “fee” to use the pool/fitness area. $10.00 per person per day and another $2.00 for a towel."

"Great cabin! Everything seemed really new and clean. Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Highly recommend it! I do advise bringing games with you as we didn’t find any - not that they said there would be, but usually cabins have some games it was really nice to be able to park in the garage!"
